Welcome to my home page! My name is Lauren Brackenbury and I am a recent (May 2011) graduate from Reed College, a small, academically rigorous liberal arts college in Portland, Oregon. I completed my B.A. in psychology and wrote my senior thesis, “Collegiate Decision Making about Drug Use,” using a methodology that I designed and data I collected from students at three U.S. universities. After graduation I moved to Seattle and am now working as a private French tutor before applying to clinical psychology graduate school at the University of Washington. After achieving my PhD it is my intention to become a clinical psychologist for adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders.
On my page you will find information about my professional experience, French tutoring, and artwork. I am new to wordpress so the site is still under construction, but please check back as I will be updating it frequently in the near future! In the mean time, feel free to browse my art blog and etsy page. Thanks for stopping by!
Best,
Lauren Brackenbury
